Clay tile roofs will be photographed with a drone. Most clay tile roofs should not be walked on.
Concrete tile roofs can typically be walked on but there may be installation issues that cannot be seen that could lead to breakage of tile when walked on for a report card inspection. If an incidental damage waiver is signed, we can walk the roof for our inspection. Without the damage waiver, we will inspect critical elements from the eaves and/or flat roofs (patios etc.) and use a drone to photograph the condition of the roof.
